Calorie Burning

Calorie Burning: Zumba Fitness is one of the quickest ways to burn calories in a short time! Zumba's secret is a revolutionary training technique referred to as "Rhythm progression". With every swinging Zumba workout movement you work on your lower body, abdominal muscles, waist and upper body. And you work all three areas simultaneously. Best of all is that "rhythm progression" is a quick and easy to learn technique.

 

Interval Style Training

Zumba is done in an interval style. This means that there are slow and fast rhythms being incorporated. The slower rhythms are the rest periods. This type of training has been known to burn more calories & also raise the body's metabolism for hours after the event.

So Don't Stop! If you don't know all the steps to the dance, just keep moving and follow along to the best of your ability. Give 100% and you'll still be burning calories no matter what movements you make! All dancing takes practice so just enjoy yourself... The more you attend Zumba classes, the better you will get!

 

Pulsating Latin Rhythms

Zumba classes usually run for up to one hour and cover a range of dance styles. Our lessons are lots of fun and bring the Latin movement and flavour which is what Zumba is all about.  

We  incorporate Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Cha-cha, Bachata, Reggaeton and sometimes other dance styles.
